    Really do hate computers…

    Random RAID degradation again, no detectable cause. Have to spend the buck$ on enterprise drives again to hopefully get the stability back.

    Pricey lesson learned ~ and I’m available again.

    From now on I’m going to require a booking deposit for gigs. The latest feature I was to start in just a few days is on indefinite hold, and I’m out some significant coin.  $1000 dollar non-refundable deposit with cancellation within 10 days of scheduled start would take the sting out at bit.

    Now that the newest MacBook Pros have been announced, I think it may be time to retire my ‘old’ 2007 15” model, in favor of the previous 17” version with Thunderbolt, Expresscard slot and optical drive.http://store.apple.com/us/product/G0NG3LL/A
